Good to know
Will large integers lose precision?
No. Numbers are preserved as their original text rather than converted to JavaScript Number. Long IDs and scientific notation stay intact.
Are comments and trailing commas supported?
This tool validates standard JSON. JSONC comments, single quotes and trailing commas are not supported. Errors show their line and column.
Is there a file size limit?
Supports up to 2 MB, 50,000 nodes and 64 nesting levels. The tree displays up to 5,000 nodes in batches; use search to find the rest.
Is content uploaded or saved automatically?
No. JSON content is never uploaded, saved to local storage or included in analytics. It is released when you close the page.
